RIVERRATS with Leah from Riverlink Mondays Grades K-2nd
RiverRATS (River Recreation and Appreciation Through Science) provides opportunities for students to get out and explore their local streams, catching aquatic critters that teach about water quality. Each week, students will take a van ride to visit a local stream site. We will use play and experiential education to learn concepts of environmental science. This club also focuses on using art and music in the outdoors to teach concepts of social and emotional learning. Students should come prepared with water shoes (We will have extra available), a bathing suit, or clothes they don't mind getting wet /dirty. Students will be leaving at 2:45 and a Bright IDEAS’ staff member will also be going along. The first week, the club will be held on campus. This club is offered at a reduced rate of $130. Check out their website Riverlink for more information.
