1. You have two options for registration: Online or In-person.
- Online Registration: Opens 6:00 PM Sunday, August 17. You need to use a credit card to register online.
- In-person Registration: 4:00 PM-6:00 PM Thursday, August 21 (Meet The Teacher). Please Note: Clubs fill up quickly, so you may not want to wait.
2. Everyone must complete the Registration Information (page 8 of the paper packet) even if registering online. This must be completed once per year or when updates are made and turned in for our records
3. Both you and your child must sign the Contract (page 9 of the paper packet). Complete once per year and turned in for our records.
4. Complete the Elective Club and Explorers Club Sheet (page 10 of the paper packet). Complete each session and turned in for our records.
5. Turn in the following:
- Online Registration: Pages 8-10 of the paper packet
- In-Person Registration: Pages 8-12 or the paper packet. Checks may be made out to IDES

5. Turn in the following:
- Online Registration: Pages 8-10 of the paper packet
6. Pick an Elective Club or Explorers' Club days via the tabs at top.
- Select Register to read more about your club
- You may also access descriptions at the bottom of the Home tab
7. Confirm registration by selecting tuition and clicking Continue. Which will lead you to make a family account.
- Select New Family if it is your first time registering. Otherwise you may log in.
- You may add multiple children to one account.
- This account may be used for multiple sessions.
8. After logging in you may need to update or enter information for your child. After confirming details you will be taken to a checkout screen. You may continue to add more items to your cart. Click Registration at the top of your screen to access more Elective clubs, Explorers Options, or to register multiple children.
- This is also the place you may enter any coupons you have received.
9. Complete registration and pay by credit card. You will receive a confirmation email/receipt when complete.

- How can I apply for financial assistance? Scholarships are available for students whose families qualify for SNAP benefits. Also, your child can attend Bright IDEAS in exchange for your volunteer hours. Please contact Penny Lewis at [email protected] for more information or see the FAQ below.
- What types of payment can I make? Online Only: Visa, Mastercard, & Discover are accepted online. In-person: Checks Only
- What are Bright Ideas hours? 2:30 PM - 6 PM most school days. Please see our options for half days and teacher workdays under the Explorers Club tab.
Scholarships are available for families who qualify for NC Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP benefits.
- You will need to supply a copy of your SNAP card.
- You may do this in-person at Meet the Teacher OR you may email a copy to Penny Lewis at [email protected].
